We are people with a passion for whole, natural food, especially real bread. We are Bryce Wiebe, Ellen Hamburger, and John and Charlotte Hamburger. Our passion about bread and the process of making and baking it led us to come together to strive for the ever more perfect crusty loaf.

 

 

 

The result was research into old world masonry ovens, leading eventually to our very own wood-fired oven in downtown Hastings, Nebraska. We have chosen to keep our operation small and simple and always enjoyable, baking five days per week.
